Small Group Discussions Not So Small Anymore
Every year we select over twenty volunteers to lead discussions throughout the weekend ranging from collecting Art Pottery to designing your bungalow kitchen and everything in between. Some discussions from previous years include:
Starting an Art Pottery Collection for Under $1000 with collector and historian Allan Wunsch
Caring for your Arts & Crafts Metalware with Heintz Metalware expert David Surgan
Understanding Edward Curtis and his Photography with Paul Unks of Curtis Prints
Cooking Up an Arts & Crafts Kitchen with Gordon Bock
Collecting Stickley Furniture with renowned author and historian Michael McCracken
Secrets of the Mad Pottery of Biloxi, George Ohr with potter and historian Bill Clark of Clark House Pottery
Head, Heart and Hand – Exploring the Spiritual Connection with Roycroft historian and author Kitty Turgeon and
Log Homes for the Arts & Crafts Style with Mike Loy of Southland Log Homes
….just to name a few!
We’re still in the planning stages regarding Small Group Discussion topics for the upcoming 2015 Conference February 20th through the 22nd and we need your input. Email or call us here in the office if you’re interested in being a Small Group Discussion volunteer leader or if you have an idea or topic you’re interested in learning more about. We’d love to hear from you!
