Annual Arts and Crafts Show Returns to St. Paul, MN

Arts and Crafts collectors of the Midwest, your weekend is starting with a bang.
The annual show and sale remains the largest event in the Midwest region featuring mission furniture and accessories of the American Arts and Crafts Movement; among the selections offered to the excited showgoers are metalwork, pottery, textiles, art, furniture and lighting. With at least 25 exhibitors scheduled for the 2023 show, the show organizers, Brian Smith and Cameron Quintal, will make their return to the Fine Arts Building at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds in St. Paul, Minnesota September 24th and 25th, along with a number of dealers from 2022 and a few new faces.
“Now in our 22nd year of organizing the show, we are excited for this year’s event,” Brian wrote in an emailed response. “Along with our core of returning dealers, we have some new dealers and some dealers that haven’t exhibited at our show in a few years back for this years event.”

The shows will return to the Fine Arts Building at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds, the same location as the 2021 show, an advantage to dealers with framed works to sell. “The Fine Arts Building gives our vendors an opportunity to showcase framed items such as art and other hanging items in a more intimate setting.”
In 2021, Brian and Cameron decided to hold their annual show & sale in person, amidst the uncertainty of holding public events due to social distancing and other pandemic restrictions. After providing proper safety procedures, the show called “The Great Experiment” attracted many collectors from the area, all excited to buy. “Last year was one of our best shows in terms of sales for a majority of our exhibitors,” Brian said. “After taking a year off in 2020 because of Covid, our customers were eager to attend this high quality annual event last year.” Along with Brian and Cameron’s own store Eastwood Gallery, dealers like Christine L Boone Antiques, JustArtPottery.com, Kindred Styles Antiques, Dard Hunter Studios, Anderson Art Metal, and other Antiques dealers from around the area are happy to return.
“We’re looking to build off a great year of sales in our gallery and are optimistic that it will transfer over to the 2022 Twin Cities Arts and Crafts/20th Century Design Show. The public has been so supportive of this show, therefore, making it a can’t miss for Arts and Crafts collectors to attend.”
The 22nd Annual Twin Cities Arts & Crafts 20th Century Design Show & Sale will start September 24th at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds at 10:00 AM and will last through 5:00 PM in St. Paul. Admission for the show is $7.00 per person. The show will continue the next day on Sunday the 25th, starting at 10:00 AM through 3:00 PM.
