Conference Events Pass Giveaway For Students Announced

As Decorative Arts college programs around the country attract a new generation of students, the history of the early 20th Century artisans who began the Arts & Crafts movement continues to be taught through individual courses, online courses, and by non profit organizations and historic sites. The aesthetic associated with the movement is annually celebrated at The National Arts and Crafts Conference at the historic Grove Park Inn in Asheville, North Carolina. While its popular exhibitor shows are open to the general public, the National Conference includes seminars, small group discussion sessions, and demonstrations on American art pottery, furniture, metalwork, textiles, woodblock prints, fine artwork and lighting since 1988. In its 36th year, the National Arts and Crafts Conference opens its doors to is proud to offer a free Conference Events Pass to five students in a study of the decorative arts to attend the National Arts and Crafts Conference February 17th – 19th.
A Conference Events Pass ($175.00 value per pass) includes the following:
- access to educational seminars, discussion groups, and demonstrations;
- the ability to bid in the Silent Auction;
- a Grove Park Inn continental breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings;
- dessert and Coffee social hours Friday and Saturday evenings;
- Grove Park Inn tours, special educational exhibits; and free entrance into the 36th National Arts and Crafts Exhibitor shows.
- a catalog, tote bag, conference poster, and Arts & Crafts calendar.
Five students who enter into the giveaway will win a Conference Events Pass to use during the conference, having access to all the above privileges.
Please note: the Conference Events Pass does not include lodging at the Grove Park Inn, registration for the Pre-Conference workshops, or the special fundraiser events during the conference weekend.

In order to enter the giveaway, students will need to have the following to be eligible: at least a part-time course load in an accredited college program in the Decorative Arts, provide at least one letter of recommendation from a representative of their program, and provide some feedback after the event.
