It’s a party!
No, not the upcoming Super Bowl, although the annual National Arts and Crafts Conference could be called the “Super Bowl of Arts and Crafts.”
This is the annual “Kick-off Party” hosted by the Stickley Museum at Craftsman Farms taking place on Thursday, February 15, on the eve of the 31st National Arts and Crafts Conference and Shows at the Grove Park Inn overlooking Asheville, NC.
The party takes place in the Grove Park Inn’s beautiful Skyline Room, with floor to ceiling mountain views and a lineup of Southern specialties: pulled pork and Southern fried chicken, live bluegrass music, and cold beer.
The Southern theme will even extend to the evening’s emcee, our own executive director Vonda Givens (above) — y’all, she’s a born and bred Tennessean — who will guide party goers through the Arts & Crafts Trivia Challenge.
This evening is focused on what conference-goers love: catching up with old friends, making new ones, enjoying a delicious meal (and possibly a drink or two!), and sharing knowledge of all-things Art & Crafts (maybe even winning a medal!).
You don’t need to be an Arts & Crafts expert to give the Trivia Challenge a try — we promise! — and you’ll be taking it on with your tablemates. For us, anyone who gives it a try is a winner!
Why not make plans to join us? Seating is limited and last year’s Kick-off Party sold out, so don’t wait! You can register here:
