Notes: Ellis, Harvey. Rochester and Syracuse, NY. 1852-1904. Architect and designer, he worked briefly for Gustav Stickley in 1903 and has been credited with the rare inlaid oak furniture, dramatic arches and lighter look of Craftsman furniture. Mark does not appear on any furniture, but has been found on his artwork.
