The museum has a large collection of pieces from the Arts and Crafts movement in America including items from Greene and Greene, Batchelder, Stickley, etc.

Built between 1898 and 1910 the Lummis Home was built by Charles Fletcher Lummis on the west bank of the Arroyo Seco. The house is built of native boulders, and includes furniture designed by Maynard Dixon and Gutzon Borglum (sculptor of Mount Rushmore.)

Built after Frank Lloyd Wright’s death in 1960. One of his more well known public buildings, along with the Guggenheim.

Built by Bernard Maybeck in 1905, this building is typical of much of his work including the blurring of the line of indoors and out and the carved dragon heads on the ends of the beams. By appointment only.

One of California’s finest examples of the Arts & Crafts movement, the Marston House was built for George Marston & wife, Anna. Marston is noted for his work in historic preservation & conservation. Explore the 8,500 sq foot home and 5-acre estate.

Bernard Maybeck’s 1915 house conquered the challenge of building a simple house on a complex site. Ever sensitive to the landscape, Maybeck divided land he owned in this area into lots whose boundaries were determined by the topography. Private residence.

This stunning example of Mission Style was started in 1876 with following additions and changes including those by Aurthur Benton, Myron Hunt, and Elmer Grey up until 1929.
